Love Versus Hate

Two she-cats sat at the edge of Starclan's forests, snarling at each other. One had long gray fur, marred by old wounds, a broad face, and glaring yellow eyes. The other was a slim, grey cat who arched her back, fur bristling.

"How could you have just left your kit, your own son because of a simple accident?" Yellowfang spat, her eyes narrowed.

"Well what's it to you how I treated my kits?" retorted Rainflower.

"He needed you!" replied the old she-cat, exasperated.

"Doesn't seem like that to me. He got all the way up to leader without my help." Rainflower said, shrugging.

"B-but.." Yellowfang spluttered, "At least.. At least I loved my own kit."

My entry for the Love Vv Hate contest held by ! Woop!

Yellowfang is my favorite character because she stayed stong, even through all she had to go through. She fell in love, she had kits, two of her kits died, the other killed her mate.. she even had to kill her own son. But she lived through it. And she never really stopped loving Brokenstar, which I think is admirable.

Now let me tell you what I think about Rainflower.
Oh jeez guys.
You don't just.. you don't cast away your son, still a kitten, just because he accidentally broke his jaw! He needs your comfort! Ugh! Like, really.. I dunno. Rainflower just makes me so angry. She only cares about what's on the outside, and refuses to change.

So here's what I think would happen if they met in Starclan! X'D Enjoy!
